ok this past week i drove to arizona in my 91 s13. before i drove it there everything worked fine.. at some point in time when i was out there i started to here my fan wind a little louder than usual.. then inoticed that it stays engaged in sync with my rpms.. is it suposed to dissingage at a cirtain point? and how am i to go about fixing this?

it seems replacing it is the only way?
is it hard to change out?

now when i drive at night the engine is super cooled and as soon as i slow down the temp needle falls to cool

also ive heard the stock temp gauges on s13 suck so what is a good alternetive?

You can replace the fan clutch.

You'll need to take off the fan shroud to get to it first. It's 6 bolt IIRC that hold the fan on. Then 4 bolts that hold the clutch to the water pump.
