I've heard of people doing it, but have not officially seen pictures.
I know about the bad angle, but I just wanted to see pictures of this setup and how bad it really is and how much its off....
Just trying to figure out some intercooler options for my KA...
thanks guys

brian used s13 sr kit on his ka. all that was needed was a longer coupler from the cold pipe to the throttle body.

^^^ Specifically...I used a S14 SR "GReddy VSPL" kit with a S13 SR cold pipe.
I hacked up the S14 SR cold pipe to make my turbo intake.
Here's the DIRECT link to the intercooler stuff:

EXACTLY what I wanted to see.
I don't see how the use of an S13 kit would be any different than an S14 kit with an S13 cold pipe.
The difference IS the cold pipe between the kits correct?
The radiator supports are nearly the same, and if my memory serves me right, my Blitz S13 SR kit mounted identical to you S14 kit with s13 cold pipe.
The next question would be if an S14 SR intercooler kit would be a match or work with a KA-T with the Excessive motorsports intake manifold...that would be something worth investigating...

They mount in a similar fashion, but the bungs are in different locations.
TO use a S13 kit on an S14 is easy, but you have to use brackets and spacers to make it fit perfect (where the lower brackets bolt up, and the center mount by the hood latch).
I wanted a 100% bolt-on deal...no modifying holes, making brackets, or anything. One longer coupler was acceptable.
If I wanted to do ANY extra work, I wold have bought a Spearco core and made custom pipes. But I got lazy and bought a new kit...ONLY thing on my car that I've done that with...I've fab'd everything else, or made it fit, or bought it used!

I used the S13 SR cold side and S14 hot side on my Hybrid FMIC kit on my KA-T. Cold side took a little rigging and the pipes don't fit perfect but they do fit with a little finesse. Hot side was a little tricky since I'm using a top mount turbo. I can e-mail you some pics since my bumper is off if you'd like
