Well, I have my eye on a CA powered 240 and I have been doing my research and such but also decided probably be best to post here. Just wanted to see what things I should look for (engine wise atleast) when it comes to buying a CA powered 240.

Thanks, Chris.

Ask NeedCAforS13.

Built the CA that's currently in his s13 now.
It runs strong, takes my beating like a champ.

check back later on my website. I'm in the process of switching who hosts it, so its down right now, but has alot of good CA18 info on it.

id look at how the wiring was done, if teh wiring looks crappy, it could lead to failures.. check out the quality of the piping job for the intercooler, look to see if the vacumm lines are a nest etc.. just pretty much see if teh swap itself looks like a factory install.

Then check for the usual car shiet....compression, turbo condition (look for shaft play), leaks, pop hot pipe and the cold pipe (look for residual oil, could mean turbos spitting oil). Then start looking at the body and see if you like it well enough.
