So what would you pay for a used 5 speed KA tranny

I am junkyard shopping on www.car-part.com for a 5 speed 1991 tranny.
So far, I have found one with unknown miles for $250, 80,000 for $250, and a 32,000 for $400.
What would the most you pay for a tranny and how many miles would you consider the "line" for being too old?

i'm selling one for $100 that has 100,000 miles. but i live in St. Louis. i never installed it, just bought it from someone but i'm having an SR installed by the end of summer so the transmission for the KA is useless to me. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> &nbsp;oh i how i wish i would have made up my mind before i bought it.
