ya it was an eye opener for us in hawaii...apparently there was alcohol involved...stupidity was also a factor, but none the less my condolences to all the victims...what really sucks is that as for march this year we loss our track...theres no where to drift legally, and alot of the street places suck so this adds to the bad rep that streetracers/drifters have...

yep...the Hawaii Raceway park is closed which means no more drift session videos. The reason was because the lease was over. There was a plan for building a new track but politics got in the way and blah blah blah...some of the drifters have pack their bags and moved to california because last time they closed the tracks, it took 10 years to re-open...shitty deals

Yes they are and that is unfortunate. It is also unfortunate that the local track is currently closed. There is a fence for a reason though. STAY OFF THE CLOSED ROAD, there is a Dead End.

I mean that movie just proved that you can drive a car through a housing project under contruction with closed roads on the dirt and drift it and smash into other movie vehicles at high rates of speed and you will be A-ok in fact youll be a super star and your mom will blow the police and you will be sent to drift heaven in tokyo if you get arrested...ps i nver even saw it is that what happens:angel:

No need for disbelief Kn1ves. I'm certain the accident made the news, so there should be NO reason for another car to be in that exact same accident. There is a fence there for a reason. Stay off the road. I feel bad for the passengers if they had no idea. THAT truly is a tragedy. But I'm not going to feel sorry for people who were someplace they weren't allowed to be and got injured or killed because of it. That's like feeling bad for someone who jumps into a lion's cage at the zoo, and then get's mauled by the big kitty.

it was reported that the driver was angry at his girlfriend, and we all know how we drive when were angry...but theres no excuse, especially with other people in the car...i highly doubt he was trying to drift because the road is pretty straight...i think he just lost control and went off...as for the rx-8, thats a darwin award...
