I just picked up a used ARC intake box for my S13/SR. It didn't come with a filter. I've searched here, Freshalloy, IFX, 240sxforums, etc but haven't found the info I need...
Can anyone tell me a part number for a K&N, Fram, STP, or whatever filter that will fit the box? I really don't want to drop $80 on a replacement ARC filter.
Thanks in advance.

So far I have not been able to find one...The Squidd works for K&N and told me that there is no direct fit...Sorry.
Logan at Aspec has the ARC replacements though...$80 if memory serves me correct.

Yeah, you payed $300+ for it, might as well buy a fresh filter man. *a

Umm, no. I paid about $100 for a used box. Did you honestly think I'd be trying for a budget filter if I'd bought the box new? Wouldn't it have come with the filter if I bought it new anyway?

I don't get it...
You get a quality air intake for your car but want to skimp on the filter which is probably the most important part? Why bother to begin with?
And btw, ARC and Fram shouldn't be uttered in the same sentence.

agree'd. dont be cheap, if u want the JDM tyteness of an arc induction box then get the filter too. Like Mano said, ARC and fram are opposite of each other on the spectrum , maybe u ment APC and Fram

Wow. Sorry I asked.
I really don't think K&N is junk. Sorry I had the audacity to mention Fram; I was just throwing options out there, to see if anyone had an answer.
I also love how everyone assumes I bought the ARC box to be "JDM tyte." I have my reasons, and that ain't one of them.

For anyone who cares, and so it'll be hear to search for, the K&N part number that FITS THE BOX is 33-2767 and costs $39.88 at Advance Auto.
Screw $80 plus shipping anyway.

Well, when this aluminum part rusts, I'll be sure to post, since it goes against our scientific understanding of the universe.
