Alright, my girlfriend has a 92' HB, and recently someone jumped her car and did it reverse polarity which I believe pretty much fucked everything up. Her dad ended up replacing the alternator and battery but it still drains until it's dead. I have the belief that her ECU is now incapable of controlling alternator output and needs to be replaced. I'm not sure, but if anyone can't give me an idea it would help. I don't wanna go and replace it just to find out it doesn't help any. The Alt's ground is good as are the rest of the system's. Anything? Thanks.

batt?brand new
alternator?brand new
spark plugs?iridiums + how would that kill voltage
coil?zappin
dizzy?spinning
ecu?not throwing codes but in question as seen above!
fuses? A-OK
alt. belt? tensioned
relay? Good.
So yeah, dieing voltage. Whutup.
And allow me to reword thing. Power is dropping to dead battery status. Car won't start. It's doing the same thing before those two were replaced, as in, the battery gets charged overnight. Car works OK for 3-4 days then dies. So obviously it's just surviving off supplied battery voltage and not replenishing it.

Hmm...You can start by taking a screw driver and placing it right near the back side of the alternator (where the center bearing is) and it should be magnetized when the engine is running. If it is then the voltage regulator, brushes, and field coil are all operating, which means the ECU is doing what it should.
Check with a volt meter to see if the alternator is charging the battery. Or get an AVR test done. Is the alternator fuse link good? Maybe there is a drain on the battery?

check your grounds...same thing happened on my friends maxima...turned out to be a ground wasnt attached after the tranny shop replaced his slave cylinder. Check all your grounds.
