thanks guys for the pix, i just wanted to see what others have done with their 2 tones. right now mine is pretty bone stock with the exception of some new falkens in the rear and a new fuel pump. im still trying to hunt down the source that is draining my battery overnight. i think that its the 75amp fusable link. if i take the fuse out while the car is off the voltage holds the same at about 12.8 volts, but if i pull the fuse out the volt start to drop about .10 every 15-20 minutes. i also tried hooking a test lest in series and pulling fuses until the light goes out, the 75 amp fusable link is the only one that makes the light go out. the battery is only a few days old as is the alternator. the 75 amp fuseable link will be in the mail in the next few days, i hope that fixes the problem. im hoping to post some better pix this weekend, but until then here is what it looks like right now....

i love 2 tones. has anyone ever successfully pulled off a similar style 2 tone on an S14?? im just curious if it would work if you cut the colors real low like on coupes. ive seen them cut with the body line, much higher than the coupes. nice lookin rides fellas. lol, impactred. im from xceed! w00t!

Nice, but the flatblack roof makes it look out of place. It needs to line up mroe with the front hood. So i think you should go down the apillar through the fender lines.

The fastback might been repainted unless he is the first owner and got it from the factory like that, which is the first case I ever heard of a fastback having two tone.

Seeing one in person does not mean it came from the factory like that. Nissan did not offer two-tone on the fastbacks, and anyone who tries to tell you differently is a goddamned dirty liar or a moron of incomprehensible magnitude*. That being said, it is entirely possible that the dealer resprayed it to make it a two-tone. Two-tones were quite popular at the time.

Before anyone else flames, let me say that the according to Nissan, the only factory two-tone fastbacks that were sold were 200SX's in europe. These differed from the coupe 2-tone in that the lower color was lighter than the top.

Yah just about as unfactory as you can get. Not mine just found it on san diego craigslist. Almost like the seller wanted a coupe so bad so they just about made their hatch into one.

I am considering going two-tone when I have my car professionally painted. It's just a matter of finding a color I like with the Canteen Metallic top color. I was thinking of using a darker green. I'll photoshop something when I can find a good clean pic to work with. My search begins...

For now, here is my Two Tone pic contribution. I like this color combo, but I'd still prefer my greens idea.
