Hey guys,

I know some people have the stainless clutch line that just replaces the clutch line and not the hardlines. Does anyone make clutch lines that go from the slave cylinder straight to the clutch master cylinder?

I believe the SPL parts line bypasses the damper loop as well

I have both SS lines (long and short) from taka.

before the SS lines, i was using the ghetto stock used rubber lines, and the clutch release point and pressure would get really spongy and awkward in the hot weather; with SS lines there is never change in clutch feel

I know that heavy throttle already sells a stainless steel clutch line like this on their website. I cant put the link in here but its located inside their AT to MT swap link. Its more expensive than the one a33 vq30dek is selling. If your really gonna produce this, then you can count me in. Do you plan on making a cable that goes directly from the MC to the SC? or a cable from the MC to the bracket just before the SC? Just as a suggestion, you may want to offer 2 kits cause im sure alot of people out there already have a SS clutch line that they used to replace the clutch dampener loop.

no

there should be no need for the teflon wrap

The teflon wrap is used to protect the outside of the line from dirt, grit, etc. and abnormal wear. Most good companies have teflon wrap (Earl's, Nismo, etc.). I personally would recommend buying lines with teflon wrap whether it be clutch lines or brake lines.

Import tuners need to be more resourceful. Search, Read, Cross reference, etc.

Your local Hydraulic supply will make you a custom line in less than 10 minutes for ~15.00

just make sure you know what you are talking about when you go in. They will not make d.o.t. approved lines on the spot.

tell them "I need a 14" SS braided line with 10mm female fittings on both ends." and he should answer back, ok no problem that will be 8.00/ft and 4.50 -per end. " ....this is an example, not what you should order.

Look in the phone book under tractors or autoparts for hydraulic supply, call them and ask if they do metric lines. Just do not tell them it is for your street car!!!!! if they do ask, tell them it is for a tractor or off road vehicle.

Teflon wrap - you can always use heat shrink tubing if you think the clutch line will rub on the chassis or something. $1-5.00

Yeah, but all you have to do is bend the hardline a little bit so that the line reaches the slave...not that difficult and takes like 5 mins...
