Illegal intake and State Ref question

Hey guys i have an apointment with the state ref tomorrow for not having my carb sticker on my aem intake. I couldnt find the sticker at home so i put the stock air box back in. My question is i have a catback on the car right now and i was wondering if i should swap out the catback to stock? They shouldnt care about the exhaust if my ticket was only for a illegal intake right? they shouldnt fail me cuz i have an exhuast on the car correct?

there is no legal exhaust in Ca. thats what i was told by many of cop's i had to sell my crx when i was sent too the ref too many issues an the exhaust was one.

yes, as long as your exhaust under 95db would be fine

you dont need to sell your car or remove stuff because of a ref ticket..i heard a friend removed his turbo kit and sold it becuase he got a ref ticket, and the ticket would only be like 200something without correction.. i paid 400 for my ref ticket... But i guess if your still KA and going back to stock is like a sunday afternoon thing, then do it.

uhh...dB limit is gone. they havent updated it in the VC handbook, but now the limit is whatever cops think is loud. thats what i heard though, and thats from a cop. who knows? either way....maybe you should have not popped your hood! if you have your stock airbox on, and all your emissions shit there, you should be cool. exhaust piping after the catconverter doesnt do anything, except for quiet the exhaust.
