electrical question

say something generates 3.0 megawatts. how do you figure how many KWh it is generating.

unfortunately no it doesnt, thanks though. that converts megawatt hour to kilowatt hour but I know the factor is 1000, but im trying to convert osmething that is just mega watt to kilowatt hour, and is proving quite difficult. Though im sure it is a very simple conversion. I just lack the basic electrical knowledge.
