OK i wanna remove my clutch piping tube
and install a steel braided line from the operating cylinder to the hard line where the
piping tube was.
I have been having problems bleeding the system, and now it wants to grind going into 1st and reverse, as not enough pressure...im assuming!

I was wondering if this is the correct way to do this?

That rusted piece is called the cluth dampener. You don't need it. Loosen the hard line from the dampener. Then carefully bend it to the rubber hose or get a steel braided line for it. Then all you have to do is bleed it from the slave cylinder. I got speed bleeders for my slave and i bleed my system in seconds.
