View Full Version : floater in my fuel tank??

but last night... before i got out of my car... the fuel gauge said it was half full..... so later today we went to a road with nobody on it.. and we were pealing out of the corner... and i took it too hard and spun out.. and then my fuel gauge said FULL!!! hmm this isnt a video game... so.. im not gonna consider this as infinite amount of full.. and just keep driving around... so.. could somebody please help me with my problem??? oh yeah... i posted earlyer.. but i think it may be the floater... anybody have any idea on how to change it??? or better yet.. does anybody have a s14 FSM and a scanner??? THANKS!!! MUCH APPRECIATED FOR ANY HELP

ok ok.. my bad... i should of read your book before comming to conclusions i guess... so... can you help me??

You might not be getting any replies because this question is really being asked in the wrong forum, it should go in the tech section. So while we're waiting for this to get moved, did the fuel gauge just get stuck on full, or has it moved at all since you last drove it? If it's still on full...fill up your tank, sometimes that will fix the problem...

well.. when i peeled out of the cornner it was on half tank.. then i messed up.. and i spun out.. and i next thing i noticed it reads full on my fuel gauge... i filled my tank.. and its been awhile.. and it still reads full... so.. i guess ill move it to tech.. thanks DrDubbleB
