Damn. Those SR20s ain't cheap. Was your oil pressure fine? Was the oil passage clogged? Anyway that sucks, hopefully someone has a head and some cams for cheap. Good luck.

yep... well... my friend has stock cams that he is going to give to me. I honestly don't know why the oil pressure would be weak... we think that the motor had possibly had diff cams and the person before had overtightened the cam cap? because another one had marring too.

people are asking too much for blank heads. a friend of mine sold his for $100... whatever... I might just bite the bullet.

got me a head with perfect cover and hks springs for 125 shipped, they arent that expensive.

A cam seat that has broken from improper lubrication and too much scoring. And a really dirty grimy head that needs a lot of cleaning. And more frequent oil changes. Damn. LOL.
