I work at a ford dealership and they have a huge stock pile of used tires in the back, ranging from steel belts poking through the tread, to brand new tires. I found these tires on the outskirts of the pile and look to be in perfect condition. They have about 99% tread left on them and i thoroughly examined them to see if there are any holes or sidewall damage but they seem to be perfect. I looked on tirerack.com and they are going for $153 each <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>
Here is what i am going to do...
I will be selling them for $100+shipping which I estimate will be around $30-$50 and then again i could be way off! If when they are installed by a *proffessional tire company* they won't hold air b/c of a hole then i will request a copy of the receipt from the *proffessional tire company* who installed them, and will pay for them to be fixed! I don't want to be that guy who sells broken parts or tires w/ holes in them so that is my reassurance to you that these are great tires! I really wish i could keep them but i am really short on cash right now!
If anyone has any experience w/ shipping tires especially 17's please tell me the price you paid so everyone can get an idea of shipping costs.
