a while back, i saw that whiteline carried this product you wrap around your noisy spring coils to make 'em quieter.

do you know where i can find that product.
i'm also looking for that product for my acura too.

You can buy 1/2" spiral wrap wire loom at any hardware store, does the same thing for half the price.

If at any point the spring coils contact each other under load, any kind of material between them will dampen the resonance. You just want to use something that's durable enough to last a while. Spiral loom is polyethelene I believe, lasts decently if kept clean and not allowed to receive abrasion from rocks/tires/etc a lot.

TEIN's tend to slip off...

The Tanabe is a coil wrap / spiral loom... Id go with that...

I was considering this same method, only with different material.

you know the adhesive thick rubber paint that is usually applied onto pliers' grips and things of that sort? I have a bucket of that kinda paint and was considering dipping them in both sides to pretty much cover the entire spring. Don't know it it'd do any damage or anything to the springs or ride, but it was worth thinking.

My idea flew out the window when i couldn't find the paint bucket anymore.

Someone else try and tell us how it works!
