S14 Zenki Front Aero bumper........what do you guys think of it ?

I don't have too many pictures of this front bumper. I would like to know what you guys think of it. I know there aren't too many options in the U.S market for the zenki.

If this is your car it needs to go in the picture thread... that's what it's there for... personally I don't care... It's up for you to decide if you like it or not.

Um, I believe he is gauging interest to see if they want to produce it... right?

looks to me like the top of it sticks out too much, kinda park-benchish, but then again it could just be the picture angle

show more of it, im diggin the rest

it looks like a kouki front bumper put onto a zenki.. to me at least..

i prefer the clean look of an origin or vs kit over that though.

that's the only picture i have actually. If anyone else has a picture of this particular bumper, feel free to post. I think it might stick out a bit , but not too much. Most aftermarket bumpers stick out just a bit.

I prefer people paying to advertise.

As far as the look of the bumper goes...

It's a picture of a black bumper from a bad angle.

We're not adverstising because we dont offer it.

we dont have a problem paying for advertising.....we've done it on several forums. But in this particular case, we're not offering anything.

Ya, looks like it. At bit odd though, doesn't really fit well...

I already responded to your last post. No need to explain further, but thank you. "Carry on" means the discussion can continue as to wether or not anyone is interested.

How about something like this minus widebody and canards:

Not too low, not too aggressive, turn signal delete as well(or use kouki lamps).

i don't really like that front aero bumper.

There are plenty of aftermarket Zenki aero bumpers out there already. Honestly the market is kinda washed out with all the different aftermarket bumpers that look slightly different.

Be unique, make replicas of the OEM JDM Zenki bumper. How about some JDM zenki sideskirts. You would get alot of interested buyers and completely tilt the price of actual OEM aero stuff out there.

The guy who makes replica Kouki front lips I think is a genius. OEM > Aftermarket aero

oem aero sucks, dosent lower the car, easily available already, why make copies, game over

shineauto - please make BNSPORTS replica. PLEASE
http://www.bn-sports.co.jp/2door/image/add329/s14_t4_later.jpg
noone offers a replica kit like this at all

http://www.bn-sports.co.jp/2door/image/add329/s14_t4_.jpg

could easily be made in zenki and kouki, skirts and rear would be identical so you basically get 2x market intrest and all you have to do is change one part of the kit

turn signals could be deleted on zenki mould as well if zenki guys were into that

i like OEM aero. dont care too much for aftermarket kits. OEM copys are :-/ but if they cost just as much as original, then forget that idea. payce

Why would anyone want a fiberglass replica of OEM? I'd rahter pay up for the real deal since urethane can take a beating like nobody's business.

Chit, if anything it makes more sense to make a urethane replica of an aftermarket fiberglass kit than it does to make a fiberglass replica of an OEM urethane piece. If anyone wants to make a good quality urethane BN Sports replica I'd be down for a set...................

Good input guys. Everyone knows that the s14 guys love the OEM stuff and if they're going more extreme.......version select is preferred.

That's why we havent done much for the s14's. We've done alot for other cars. Maybe some of you have already heard about us and most likely, most of you haven't. We're the new kids on the block when it comes to Silvias.

If you guys are cool with OEM and VS.... that's awesome. But if you guys would like to see more variety, we would like to know more about it.

I didn't expect so many responses going in so many different directions. All I asked is what you guys thought of the bumper :).

I am with the other guys on that black zenki first posted. The bumper looks akward. Maybe that is exagerated by the odd grill stuffed in between the headlights, but the bumper just doesn't look like it matches the car well.

The BN Sports that Chmercer posted looks so good on the kouki, but not so much on the zenki. Personally, what I like about the zenki is a simpler style. A more subtle style suits the zenki better. Like Brian's car ( the silver one in PG ) could quite possibly be the hottest zenki I have ever seen.

It would be great to see more options for the zenki S14, but it is kinda hard to look better than oem jdm sides and rear I think. Just what I think about it.

Make rear spoilers and roof spoilers . There only a a few company that makes roof spoilers. Make yours a little unique and angle it different. It might work. Also make a rear lip for the s14. I only seen oem euro lip, jdm valances and one aftermarket rear lip for the s14.

Make a rear s14 lip. I am pretty sure there is a market for that, especially if it flows with oem kouki sides.

I actually like the car Nissan4u2nv posted up... the second BN sports is nice too. But as Shine Street said... majority of S14 and especially Zenki owners tend to like a more subtle, flowing package when it comes to aero... something that most people would look over but other S14 owners will go "ooh wait... thats niiiice!" subtle yet aggressive.... a hard line to find... but I would like to see more variety. everyone rockin the same kits or staying stock gets old.

I really like that red and black one...Maybe that style but a little bit lower? Similar to the size of Vertex on the Zenki. (Did anyone notice how crazy low the Vertex kit is on the S14? It's a solid 2" lower on the sideskirts than B-Magic, give or take...)

chmercer
07-07-2006, 05:49 PM
^^^ word, vertex style is like completly slammed (ie. totally awesome)

sick of my uras style, you have to tuck like 2 inches of rim to get it low, which is dumb.

BASICALLY what i would like to see is a kit that would offer a lower stance than what is currently available, without making the suspension completly whack in the process.

edit - one other thing i would like to add, that a ton of the new aero designs do, and that i absolutley hate, is how the front bumpers angle upwards (apparently for ground clearance reasons). i MUCH prefer a bumper that is paralell with the road when mounted, if i wanted ground clearance i wouldve have bought a body kit anyway. dunno how everyone else feels on this however.

REDSH!FT
07-07-2006, 06:32 PM
I want my shit to have BAD ground clearance...THAT way I don't have to sacrifice suspension travel, control arm angles and general geometry to make my aero kit scrap the ground on the up-stroke...dig?

I want URAS styling w/ Vertex lowness

i pm'd you guys through ebay the other day about this very topic asking if you were going to make jdm oem zenki replicas, which you should, and i am glad to find out i am not the only one who wanted them.

if you do make a kit that would be sweet as well. after seeing your other products, it looks like really high quality stuff. regarding the urethane comment, i believe these shine auto kits will be pretty durable.

my main concern is daily driver friendly so jdm aero is more my style and gets my vote.

jdm aero +1. Go for it, especially the zenki sides ($225 shipped area),
bumper (325 shipped vicinity), rear zenki valance ($100 shipped area)

i say you get those VIP wing thingys back up and give us a price on them.

We took those wings off the market because they didnt fit good enough. That have to be able to fit really well to be able to stay on. We will redo a prototype and offer it again in a few months.

If a product is not good.......we take it off. Unlike other companies.

ShineAutoProject

JDM OEM aero parts are very easy for us to get. I dont think we would ever do it. MAYBE a kouki lip. But the other parts are easy to get in the used japanese market.

The bumper has potential imo but the pic and rest of the car aero don't do it justice.
