I did a tranny swap on my 98 USDM, using a 95 tranny.
I bought an ECU, that was supposed to be from a Manual USDM 98 240sx, but is there any way to be sure it came from a manual one?
This is a picture illustrating both of my ECU's

my initial A/T one (labelled 3T), on the bottom, and the one on top that I bought, that's suppoed to be from a 98 manual car (labelled 3R)?

Now I also have a Fidanza flywheel, and sometimes (not always) when I crank it, it takes a few tries until the car starts. Is there any differences between M/T starters and A/T starters? I'm trying to figure out if this is caused by my A/T starter cranking on a M/T, or my Fidnaza flywheel, or even my ECU that actually came from an A/T car.

I used my auto wiring harness, which I converted and used all the sensors on the M/T, backup, 5th gear, 4th gear, etc..

Now once the car has started, it appears to run normally, yet it's much slower then it used to be in his automatic days (I have time slips to prove it) even with a one-piece driveshaft, and dual 248 cams, and the fidanza flywheel). So far I'm suspecting the cam timing to be slightly off, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I forgot to mention, my speed sensor wires are not connected as of now, as I'm using a S13 speed sensor in a S14 tranny, so it showed 200km/h when I was doing 100km'h, so I unplgged it and I'm wainting my my digital speedo corrector to arrive. I didn't want to buy an S14 speed sensor, as I have several lsd's that I swap depending on the application (3.9, 4.083 and 4.625), so wanted the adjustibility of the digital speedo corrector.
But I've read that the speedo is used in the fuel mapping, is this true?
