Take your fingers out of your ears.
Haha ok not funny.
If you aren't feeling dizzyness, pain, or nausea then I don't think its super serious. Either way you should see your doctor or at least call and see what they say.

DO NOT use dry q-tips, drench it in hydrogen peroxide, or use a medicine dropper to get it into your ear to eat the wax away.
Do not work the swab a whole lot physically, let the peroxide do what it does, it has been the most effective since I learned of it 3 years ago.

yeah go see a doctor, it happened to me and the doc said i shouldnt even be using qtips cause it pushes the wax in and they had to pretty much put chemicals in there and have to wash it out with like this thing that sprays water inside, had a ball of wax like almost the size of an m&m

go to your doc and get a flush
never use q tip..
the flush consists of a H202 mixed with warm H20 that will breakwax build up and save your life

its not an emergency... dont waste their time.
GO to an urgent care center, or call your doctor and let them know you need an appointment asap

Don't even bother going to the doc.. Just go to any pharmacist and they should help you out.. IO had that same problem in HS and i felt like crying (THought i was deaf).. Anyway you'll get these drops and they (like everyone said) will eat away at the wax... you do it like 2 to 3 times a day and then it will eventually flush out..
It happened to both of my ears at the same time and they basically flushed out at the same time (IN THE SHOWER !!!).. I almost had a heart attack cause i wasn't use to sound (Had it for something liek a week.. It sounded like i was right next to a tv put on full blast with surround sound and nothing but the static on...

my friends dad had the same prob... only he used tissue to clean his ears and ended up getting a wad of it stuck in his ear without knowing it.
He had that piece of tissue stuck in his ear for about a week before he went to the doc and found out he had tissue in his ear.
well if everybody is saying dont clean your ears with q-tips what else are you supposed to use.

If you're gonna use qtips i found that it works better after a shower/going to ocean/pool/etc.. When the wax is wet it clings better to the tip instead of a solid mass where most of it just gets "pushed", and doesn't cling to anything unless that other object is really really moist.

After working on cars for a while, my fingers will no longer fit in my ear. I'll try that ear drop thing, maybe i will gain super hearing or something.

i guess i have to stop using dry q-tips, damn. Just rinse your ears out with acetone haha that should do the trick!

I usually use q-tips as soon as i get out of the shower (don't like the feeling of water in my ears), ive been doing it for years and never had a problem, but i'd imagine if you are using them dry then you are more likely to just push wax around then actually clean anything, I wouldn't go to the ER because it's not an emergency, call your doctor like everyone else said.

I would go to the doctor/hospital no matter what.
Foxy Brown had that happen to her -- lost her hearing in an instant and it's been more than a year since she's been deaf now.

A worse case scenerio is that you ruptured your tympanic membrane ("ear drum" to you simpletons) in which case you may be healed from weeks to months. If its serious, you may require surgery to promote healing (doubt it).
You should be worried about bacteria entering your ear canal since this membrane prevents bacteria from entering your inner ear canal.
Next time, just rinse your ear out with warm water (ear waxes melt somewhat when heat is present). Remember, WARM water NOT HOT water.

It's pretty disturbing to lose your hearing.. I've lost a great deal in both ears, from loud music, and loud cars.. Go see the doc man.. It'll be the best 50.00 you've ever spent. At least you'll know that you didn't damage anything.. instead of guessing..
