I met the RedShift guys last week and they seem to be really solid. They helped me out with some questions and have a clean shop. Apparently they did an RB25 swap for someone using the Syko mounts and they said it worked out really well.

Thanks for all the support... hell you guys can all come and I will buy everyone beer and pizza or something... lol... I'm new to the area so its always good to meet new guys... especially while drinking beer and shootin the shit... anyways.

The car.. well the motor runs solid, but the clutch pedal doesn't always come all the way back up, causing the tranny to grind or be near impossible to shift. So I messed with the pedal just with my hand, pulled it forward, got teh tranny to shift smooth, noticed a puddle of fluid on the ground, and noticed the little resevoir on the top of teh Master cylinder was empty. Plus I have some type of fluid that came flushing out from the passangers side from some hose that connects to nothing. Along with that, the car doesn't start immediately when you push the clutch and turn the key. I don't think the clutch pedal is hitting the little starter button at the bottom.

Overall I think I need to bleed the clutch, adjust the pedal, and figure out what that other fluid leak is. I was going to bring it somewhere, but I am afraid something will happen along the way. I haven't had any luck with cars lately. All things that could be simple fixes for some seasoned 240sx guys, but not me... I tend to do more body/audio/fiberglass work then I do motor work.

To be specific I am right off Rt.1 in Triangle. Like 5 minutes off exit 150 on 95 or not too far down the street from where 234 and rt1 meet.

K so since the weather is getting nice i figure its time for a meet here soon! Weather its a meet and happy meals for everyone or we do a dyno day, its up to everyone... JGY in withville is putting the finishing touches on their new dyno... It is quite nice you can check it out at http://jgycustoms.com/. My car just happens to be down there now being rebuilt for forged internals... 3 angle valve job, etc... so i can put serious power to it.... There is the option of the Harrisonburg area too, there is a dyno at Pro-Motion Tuning, LLC in Fredericksburg... they do $85 for 3 runs, and NX is $4.50 per lbs... Or we could all meet in Roanoke, for the star city motor madness! 15,000 cars and 80,000 people last year, its June 27, 2008. The car show is the next day. Its one hell of a car show too... Everyone in the area goes, its like one even the city puts together that people enjoy! I hope to have my car back by then... I know there has to be dynos in NOVA too... and im not really familiar with the coastal area... im personally down with anywhere... let me know what the opinions are...
