We'll I'm going to Jamaca in 3 weeks for my honeymoon, and the wifey and I would like to blaze up some local goodness if you know what I mean. I wanna know if it is actually legal there or what the story actually is. Last thing I wanna do is trying buying "something" from someone offering it and it being a cop and getting thrown in jail on my honeymoon. :Ownedd:

Neither one of us have done this type of activity in almost 10 years and we thought it would be fun to do since we don't have jobs that test for this type of thing.

Make sure you actually see what you're buying. The common scam on tourists is to wrap the papertowls in foil and sell it as 'goods' When I was there a few folks I was with god scammed like that.

hahaha, funny story. my buddy way back in HS went with his parents to jamaica. he was walking around just site seeing. some guy came up to him and offered to sell him some bud. he was kinda nervous and suspicous. there was a cop that came by and told the man to stop hastling the kid. so he did, he left him alone. the cop looked at my buddy and said, 'you want weed, you buy from me.'

no idea if thats a true story, but it killed me when i heard it.

my friend went there on his honeymoon and the guy who brought there bags up to the room asked if they needed anything. he came back with about half ounce of decent weed, some hash, an 8 ball of coke, blunts and a lighter. so yeah its not too hard to get.

That's why I was being vauge in my question to begin with. Just figured if anyone on here had any first hand experience since I tend to trust people on here a little more, it would be a little more helpful.

Cool thing about Sandels is that if you stay at one you can travel to any of the other resorts for free.

I can't wait. We're gonna have a good time no matter what. I've never seen the frickin ocean so anything will be like paradise I'm sure.

I went to jamaica a few years back (2001). I we went to visit the fearngullies, and this one spot where we walked through the falls. While walking through the falls there was this one guy, he kept on saying "you wanna see bob marley." Then we said yea. He came back with a freaking 8th. Some good stuff. The we past buy this little part were there was a whole bunch of people selling paintings and wood sculptures, they freaking were selling it too.

So don't worry, you can just ask and they will tell you if they can get you some.
