there's a Super Autobacs in Socal and it sucks just as much as any Kragens/Parts Plus. Not to mention expensive as fuck. Then theres RRR which has some cool stuff from time to time and $$$$

Well don't bother looking for new parts cause they are still pretty expensive. My advice to you is to go to 7-eleven, buy a magazine and they will have advertisements in black and white. Option 2 is a great source too. Google map that shit from your location roughly, and then if close take a Taxi, just say the name of it and add kudasai (means please) and they will take you. Easiest way, but you got guts, go to chiba and maybe ask some drifters, but that is really far out there near the airport and ports, but that is where all the warehouses and junkyards are. Not very easy to find if you dun know your way around. Good luck....

im from chiba originally, and "kudasai" means "give me", lol. just say the name of where you want to go and you'll be fine. if i was you i would check out the junkyards, ive found some nice stuff even in the shittier ones.

I would say that junkyards would be a good place to look. They shoudl have alot of cars there unless the importers got to them first. But either way, good luck on yoru search and bring someting back for zilvia!

Fuck autobacs, overpriced autozone. Junkyards for priceless items. Upgarage, but they are overpriced so you can usually talk them down. The best best best bet for parts are car lots that sell modified cars. Most of the car shops inside have tons of parts laying around for sale. If you see a lot with 180's or whatever, stop inside and I bet they are selling used sh1t...As well Performance shops. Problem is you will need to ask someone. If you were in Okinawa I could take you shopping..Good luck!

well i am with a friend in japan but he isnt really a car guy. so he doesnt kno much about where they are and he comes back to japan maybe 1 or 2 times a year. i heard in okinawa they have a grip of parts store. i think in tokyo there is but just not where i am at rite now. since i am in shibuya seems more like the fashion area and hang out for the younger generation. ive look at upgarage and autobacs but they seem too far out of the way. im goin to nagoya this weekend i think they have alot of stuff there. so hopefully i can get some good stuff there.

Going to Nagoya? Email this kid(Allen). He is a local guy who imports cars/parts. He lived there for 3 months buying and building up cars. His email address is on their site. He is no longer there but I'm sure he could tell you where to find parts. I don't know if their lot has parts but it might be cool to check out what they are building up for their customers. He's trying to find me a car.

Hope that helps.

its amazing how cheap parts are over there. If you find any close pictures of the price tags, do the conversion. Almost worth it to fly over, stock up, and sell here.

if u cant speak japanese or have a permanate address ur basically limited to going to autobacs or up garages...thats it... and if u have no car, forget about that too.

if u hav a friend who speaks japanese, go get the magazine GOO-parts and flip thru it. u can send $ at a local convenience store and have parts shipped to you in a few days but you need a mailing address. so basically yeah if you dont have a japanese friend u cant do that either.
