Some Special 240???!!

Okey guys can any one fill me in on this 240 called the 270 iv seen body parts sold with the name 270 kit and the 270 on stickers around the car what is it and what does it have. heres a pic to let you get a feel of the sticker/name

NISMO 270R

When the S14 Silvia / 200SX first came out in 1994, NISMO was quick to offer a complete tuned car based on it. Named 270R, this 270 horsepower vehicle showed the world how wrong Nissan was : Basically, the excellent balance of the S14 platform, the strong and reliable SR20 engine block, Front engine Rear drive (FR) layout could all make the Silvia an instant winner in the low-cost sports car arena. What a waste to use a viscous LSD, soft as sponge suspension, and those small like a dime brake discs ! NISMO corrected many of these mistakes (but not all) in the 270R, making it a formidable, limited-edition sports car.

While the Nissan Silvia was made as a cheap coupe to compete against the likes of Mazda MX6 and Toyota Celica, the 270R exploited the inherent advantages of the S14 platform as a sports car that is capable of race-course competitions.

50 units of 270R were made, and this car became a celebrating item for NISMO's 10th anniversary.

The modifications done on the car was modest at best, but still reflected NISMO's image as a well-established motor racing organisation.

Note : The 270R is no longer made. A new package based on the facelifted S14 is shown as a prototype -- known as the GT300. (which looks really like the Silvia used in JGTC race) As far as I know NISMO won't sell that car as a complete car package, but will instead sell the bodykits to convert post-facelift S14s appearances.

All I know is that it was one of Nismo's race edition vehicles back in it's hey days. Looks damn beautiful to me though...some day when I get a chance I'll throw on the 270R kit onto an s14 and call it a day.

I wouldnt slap it on there unless you have the goods to live up to it. Like the Aero, Engine mods and such. If you dont have those and end up getting them made, you missed your audition for FF3. Just my .02 though. As far as the copyright, I would think it would just matter to the person making them. If its just a grunt worker who doesnt care, you should have no problem. I have actually run into a copyright thing when I got decals made for my R/C Nitro Monster Truck. *a

You shouldn't run into any problems unless you are actualy trying to sell it as the genuine thing.

the interiror gauge setup is badass fort he 270r. anyway possible to switch it around so i can use it on the driver side??? that body kit loooks real clean, goes with the r32 wheels perfectly.

The last time I saw one of those, it was priced at about $390+. Kind of pointless unless you have a RHD S14. When I have some spare time I'm going to make something similar to that that goes on the the driver side (our).
