Looks to me like a tire design just for the sake of looking cool and different. I can't imagine that the water evacuation would be very good and I don't care for those two giant grooves that leave a lot of potential rubber off the pavement.

fyi, I'm pretty sure these are geared for high end luxo-cars with quietness being a key factor. I'd hardly consider them high-performance summer tires.

yeah it does seem kind of a high end thing.. i hope its not too pricy.. i personally think those falken rt-615 are over priced.. For one time use on the track, price sucks but thats if u pay retail.. and no one pays retail these days.. i guess a bill per tire is not that bad... but i've seen some that just melt like buttahh....

Yea, the tread pattern looks radical, but I wouldn't have too high of hopes for it as a true performance tire. as someone already said, look at the huge gap in tread thats in it. That doesn't look promising to me, and the tire sizes are much more geared for blingin rims than performance applications. just my $.02

Looks cool.....but they sell it in 24 inch size? Something tells me its not going to be a RT-615 competitor

The tread pattern looks like Eddie Van Halen's guitar.

It seems like it's aimed more towards large fitments on daily driven street cars than people looking for an actual high performance tire.

I live in North Carolina, it rains here...
... a whole fucking lot

... that tire (the Nitto one, not anything else mentioned) looks like a horrible fucking idea, and comparative to other "performance" tires, I fail to even see how that tire is beneficial. Hell, even as a "luxury" tire it looks like it'd be a loud motherfucker.
No thanks

how the hell is that thing gonna hydroplane with a giant two groves down the inside?? the outside grabs... should be fine.. better than aquatread

It'll hydroplane because the grooves look like a Jackson Pollock painting. The water isn't going anywhere on the outer half of the tire.
