It seems all ignition (on position) locations seem to be in the driver side foot panel...are there any in the engine bay I can tap into for a fan controller?

I have the controller hooked into the theft relay ignition source but it only sends voltage whenever the ignition is in the start postion not the "on" position...needless to say the theft source doesn't work b/c when the car is running the key is in the "on" position and not the start position.

Any help would be greatly appriciated...looking at service manual diagrams is driving my brain crazy...but all the "on" positions look to be in the driver side foot panel!!! ahhh

I also would like to know where a good switched power source is....

What's wrong with the on position?

the an "on" position source is what i wanted it hooked too...not the "start" position which is the only thing in the engine bay to hook it too

i said screw it and ran a wire through the accelerator grommet to the automatic transmission fuse which is a switched "on" position ignition wire. it works great and puts to use the wiring that is other wise useless after my 5 speed conversion.

use a light tester and poke around in the engine bay fuse box. i'd use the wiper motor power source. If you do, make sure you use a higher amp fuse. 20a or so.
