s14 sr Question????

whats going on everyone. I was in the middle of taking apart my s14 sr motor and while i was pulling out the crank the pistons came up with and a little grey plastic piece crack. The grey piece is under every cylinder. What is that grey piece and does it need to be replaced?

From what i make of your post, its bearing shells. Those need to be replaced if they're worn. Check oil clearances and if they are out of spec, install the appropriate bearing shells.
