s14, passenger side. The door is OFF the car, the window is rolled up, and the door panel is off.
Whats the quickest way to remove the window motor? Does the entire window need to come out, or can i get just the motor easisly....thanks tons

i believe the whole window may need to come out, atleast thats what i did on my car. its kinda a bitch, but if you work slowly, you may get away without any scratches on the windows :p

You don't have to take out the window to take the motor out. I've done this twice on my driver's side, so I'm assuming everything is in the exact opposite location. There should be four bolts that hold the actual motor in/on to the door and IIRC it's fairly close to the speaker. I removed the speaker from the door, left it dangling, and reached in through the speaker hole to disconnect/trace the motor wiring...I think it would be easier to remove the entire track though. There are only a few 10mm bolts that hold the track in place, although you'd have to look to see where it attaches to the window and what is actually needing to come out. It takes some patience and wiggling once all of the bolts are removed...Once you free up the assembly, it all folds together in a straight line that you can maneuver out through the largest opening. Hope this helps!

Impact, or just a #3 phillips head. Using a #2 strips the heads out.
