I received my JDM sideskirts today and I had a few ?'s about installing them. I obviously can use the screws in the fender well to mount the front. As for the rear there are supposed to be 4 clips, 2 for each side, but I only reveived 2. So can I just drill a hole in the sideskirt and mount them that way?
Lastly, the bottom has about 5 small plasctic clips, but there are not holes for them to mount into. Also there are 2 metal brackets that I can just screw into, but would this be enought to secure the bottom portion without worries of them coming loose?
Pics so you can see what I'm talking about.

Clips and brackets for screws:
The plastic clips are in white and the brackets are in yellow. I also only got about 1/2 of the supplied plastic clips.

that would still require me to drill a hole. And if I do that I might as well use screws. Thanks though

I used the 2 front holes and the top rear one only. Never had any issues. I didnt use any of the bottoms but thats your choice.

do your skirts move around at all? Also I'm assuming you used double sided tape for the front and rear portions that go up onto the body. Lastly what kind of tape did you use? 3M, generic?????
EDIT, I just noticed that you have different ones than I do.

No tape at all. Also, I have both kouki and zenki s14 sideskirts. The koukis actually moved more then the zenkis.

which ones are on your cardomain site. They look like the OEM ones.
I used double sided tape (the good stuff form home depot) and I also drilled holes for the rear fitament. I remember drilling out new holes for the bottom mounts to get the screw in there also.

They are. Theyre Kouki sides. Like I said, I have both. I have the same ones you have, jdm zenki aero. I believe they were also an option for kouki. I dont have any pics on the other ones on my cardomain.

I Hate to bring up this older thread but did you ever figure out how to mount these skirts? I am mounting mine today. This is the first time I have ever seen those brackets for the rear...wish I had some. For now it looks like I am going to be drilling into the lip in the fender, and a new hole in the skirts.

Those rear brackets rarely come with the skirts. Just make your own using thin sheetmetal from Home Depot.
I used silicone where people usually put the double sided tape as well as screws and nuts and bolts for the ends.

appreciate it. I used some stock screws in the lip and made new little holes in the skirts and 3M tape looks great pictures in the pic thread
