just installed stances coilovers...

i just installed stances on my car and for some reason the rear isnt as stiff as the front for some reason... i adjusted the height to a ba lil higher then the front so my exhaust wont scrape. but now it feels as if its not nearly as stiff as the front when i push down on the back of the car. im not sure if its maybe that i possibly blown the shocks or not. let me know if this is normal thanks.

Thats normal. Theres a lot less weight in the back.

Well the spring rates are going to be stiffer for the front than the rear b.c of the engine being in the front. But you could have more preload on the springs in the front than the rear, you want the front to be stiffer though if you want the car to handle right. So check the preload and your settings other than that its probable pretty normal.

All coilovers are gonna be like that. The force needed to compress the spring in front is 8kg/mm and rear is 6kg/mm. Thats a 2kg difference.

1kg=2.2 lbs, so 2*(2.2)= 4.4 lbs of force each mm (difference btwn front and rear). Quite a bit.

can u not adjust the dampening on the shocks? if so just adjust them to be stiffer if u want stiffer

and w00t for washingtonions come out to evergreen speedway in monroe june 23rd for a drift event 50 bucks to drive lots of seat time last one ppl got around 20 runs

oh ok thanks guys, um just curious i wasnt sure if i did the adjusting on the front right... but when i lower the car i used the two collars witht the spring seated cause i couldnt turn the bottom perch anymore so i can lower it.... am i doing this wrong? In other words, can someone tell me how to adjust height correctly. thanks
