do u have aftermarket side mirrors?

i'm thinking about getting aftermarket side mirrors and i don't know if it works good...
i heard that the japanese ones have different mirror depth. like we need our left side to be odd side, but they are the opposite..
i saw some ebay ones, cheap but don't know if it will look right.. they don't have installed pictures..
anyone have any experience with any side mirrors?

I used to have the Bomex Type1 mirrors. Looked great, couldn't see shit behind me unless the object was attached to the car. That's my experience.

I can see fine out of them, but also have broadway rear view mirror and do lots of looking behind to switch lanes.

i use bomex...can't see a lot..but you still can see something...but what ever..juss use those little bicycle mirrors that stick on to your mirrors..that will help you out..but looks kinda funky..but it allows you to see more.

Ive got a set of harley motorcycle mirrors mounted on a cf triangle to fit where the mirror goes, they dont have great vision, but they looked cool when the rest of the car is complete, (i.e. kitted, slammed, boosted, painted, and some big ass wheels...) but thats why they arent on my car, b/c im keeping a RELATIVELY stock exterior.

i can see enough, the blue tinted glass is nice also. they are power but im too dumb to wire them and i never adjust them anyway so they are manual right now haha.

also i have a broadway rearview so i dont really use the side mirrors, also my seat is pretty big so i always check behind me before changing lanes.

its no problem to daily drive

don't buy that crap! I have a set and uninstalled them the same day I put them on. Horrible angles on the frames don't really allow for a clear view of what's on the side of you especially from the passenger mirror. For show or track duties sure, but definitely not for daily driving.

also, even if you were to find a convex mirror that will fix the angles necessary for a clear view, the actual frames and mechanism won't allow it to bend far enough to be useful for a LHD car.

ebay's carbon fiber "look" ones are stickers and not very good stickers... you can even see the quality on their pictures.

I dunno if that's true or not. I have the cheapo ebay ones (like chmercer has) but, with out with light in them. And I can adjust mine just fine. I mean the mirror itself sucks becuase it's wavy around the edges, but You can still see out of them fine.

For S14 and S13 you need to use their "universal" mirror and also get the plastic mounting plate made for your respective car.

well i saw a set of those ganador mirrors with flashers tonight at the local meet. the guy had them on his s14 but had the gay cf look sticker on it. a nice gloss blakc would look hot!
