Whats up guys, ive been searching and studying clutch kits for a month now and im kinda torn here. Im really leaning towards the exedy stage 2 with the but im afraid it wont hold the power for my new setup which will hopefully yield about 320-350whp on low boost and about 380-400whp on track days. My other option is the act 6 puck, but a whole bunch of posts state that the usprung hub is too harsh for daily driving in miami, FL traffic. So im buying the clutch this week and i need to make my decision, anyone with experience with exedy and high whp applications please give me some feedback. And thanks!

Alright thanks, well i found a new favorite clutch. The rps silvia kit has a single sprung disc, but the pressure plate has 2400lb clamp force. The kit is rated at 475ft/lbs capability, i find this hard to believe for a oem looking sprung disc but it has great reviews. Its even priced at about the same as the act and exedy. If know one has anything bad to say about it this is my new clutch.:naughtyd: Thanks for the feedback!

RPS max kits are really awesome, bites very very hard and my friend had has one. I originally bought that clutch kit for my car, but my friend was doing the SR build and needed a clutch quick so i was like ok w.e. take it. I think its great, but right now I have an Exedy Stage 2 and its great too.... I have full mod's on my SR with T25 boosted at 13.7 PSI, Z32 MAFS, Blitz FMIC, tuned Emanage and a wide band and have a 12.AFR and on a 20mph pull, ima quicker than an STI and no problems holding. i used the exedy clutch for drifting clutch kicks and its fine too, no problem slipping at all, but I DO have a new fidanza flywheel during the install, dunno if that is a factor too. Anyways I don't have a problem with the stage, but ima probably only putting down 240 to 250 to the wheel. Ima go for a GT28RS soon, but I have confidence in it too as well...... So its a toss up, but RPS Max clutch would be my next clutch for sure.....

Look into Competition Clutch here (http://www.competitionclutch.com/main.phtml). I'm currently running a stage 4 clutch with six puck sprung (almost like stock clutch feel) and lightened steel flywheel (14lbs) package capable of holding 450-500lbs of torque. Great customer service and knowledgeable people. They also make a twin plate clutch for both KA24de and SR20det.

Hey slider, what stage rps kit is it that your talking about that you gave to your friend? Thanks.

mmdb, I searched for the centerforce combo but they dont seem to have the flywheels for my application available. Did you buy yours recently? Thanks.

I think it was the RPS MAX with the street disc, holds up to 475 lbs/ft of torque.... Its a very good company

Antivtec,

yeap I got it a couple weeks ago. Their website isn't updated frequently so it's best you call and ask for the product numbers. They're on the East Coast and I believe you can purchase it directly from them so it should be easier for you.
