I have decided to lower my car. Since I am broke I will be getting some lowering springs. I was just wondering what else did I need once I lowered my car. I was told I need suspension links to keep my car aglined. So so what suspension links to you guys recommand. And if I do need something else to lower my car let me know thank you guys

well depending on how your stock shocks are i'd go with upgraded ones, if money allows go with the AGX's, and im not sure if you need the suspension links, but, after u lower it, definatly get the car aligned properly.

if you don't lower it too much, the stock eccentric bolts and arms should do fine for adjustment to alignment

if all I need is different eccentric bolts and arms if I lower the cars to much?

You probably won't need anything at all. A set of drop springs is not going to be that low, and not much will change. You will gain some negitive camber, but thats a good thing. Stock shocks might cut it, but you really will want aftermarket shocks.
If your alignment does go out too far for the stock components to fix, PDM racing sells eccentric bolt kits that allow for more adjustment.

how much would an upgrade of eccentric bolts and arms go for and what brand would you recommand. I was suggested to pick up a set of RSP links which was going to cost me about 800. Nto sure if thats needed...

4 of them? Where do the other 2 go?

*Note – There are 4 in total in the rear of the 240SX. 2 on the camber adjusters, 2 on the toe adjusters.

thats what pdm says...

umm, well if youve got the money go with the AGX's

Are stock shocks fine?

The ecentric washers are just stock Nissan unit, no more adjustment then whats on the car now.

OEM replacement - KYB GR2
A little stiffer one would be KYB AGX

Cost difference - you can compare them on ebay.

I would say get some AGX + Eibach springs (not Eibach Sportline), and learn the different dynamics of the car.

Yeah. You only get them for the front shock bolts. The upper one on the knuckles. The rear you would need RUCA's and Toe Rods.

You should only need the front bolts on springs. The stock eccentric should be ok.

Deff get new shocks and not stock replacements.

If you're going to only lower it an inch then you'll only need eccentric bolts for the front. The rear is enough to adjust with that.

I was told I needed to get the following which was going to cost me about 800. Just wanted to know if I really needed all of these and what purpose dow it play while dropping my car.

Tension Rods
Rear Upper Control Rods
Rear Toe Link
Rear Tractin Link

Like I said, if only lowered an inch then you only need the eccentric bolts. Right now that's what my car is set at. I have coilovers and will probably adjust it a lil lower once I get wheels. But more than an inch and you'll need all the other parts to correct the alighment angles. Does it make sense now...

Only need the RUCAs and Toe rods if you drop more than ~1.5"

The Tension Rods are good upgrade if yours are blown. Not required for the drop but a good upgrade.

Traction links should not change angle dropped. No need to upgrade right now.

If you are gonna have to buy new shocks and springs, why not get coilovers? You are probably going to want them pretty soon anyways. Just wait a little longer and save up.

Have you read any of the replies?

You DO NOT need to buy anything additional for a subtle drop. Instead of continually questioning the answers you've been given, go read up thoroughly on how the OE suspension is designed and what parts it's comprised of. That way you'll know more about what others are talking about and be able to decide for yourself what you'll need, without arguing blindly about shit you don't know about.
Anyone can tell you that you'll need additional hardware, whether you do or don't depends heavily on what your plans are for the car. Even if you were to lower the car significantly you'll only need two of the above items to realign, and both can be had for $200 all day long.

Research first, then ask questions.
