Whats wrong with my sr? random boggging

Im having this odd issue with my SR20det. -Redtop in a 1995 240sx.

On a cool engine, I start the car and drive it. It runs great and has good response in terms of the engine revving and giving power. AFter a lil drive, say 15-20 mins, or driving hard for say 5 mins..and when the engine gets pretty hot. what happens is

The car wont pickup as quick, it will randomly backfire alot, and it will bog while not accelerating much, and at low rpms..

Whats wrong here? I cant seem to put my finger on it.

it was designed by nissan, thats whats wrong with it.

Does it get hot as in the heat from the engine or the gauge is going in the red?

I would say check your timing and vaccum lines.

Does it boost? WHen hot and cold or just cold?

boost on cold only. Guage does not go in red. Engine has alot of heat. idle is off when rpm drops to 0 while stopping at a stop light, it goes up and down and goes to normal..
