Well, I was in the process on installing my exhaust, and, as expeted, there is a hangup. The bolts which bolt the midpipe of the new catback to the cat seem to have been welded together. I kinda realized this and tried drenching it in wd-40 for about 4 days prior to working on it. Also, the bolt itself seems to have no threads as from heating and cooling, it seems to have warped the metal to the point of looking almost molten and rusted.
I already almost rounded one of the nuts with my impact wrench and the other is in too of an awkward position to use the impact. My next step of process is to just take it to midas or a muffler shop locally and just have em cut it off and drive back with only the cat. But, before I go ahead and do that, I wanted to see if you guys had any more ideas before this is all done.
Thanks.
