who makes the best carbon fiber s13 silvia hood>?

im looking into getting a s13 carbon fiber hood for my s13 240sx converted to silvia front end.....
i want to know who makes and sells the best quality hood...what should i look for......i want as little floating as possible while driving
please gimmie your input, experience.....who to and not to buy from

sad thing is, unless its under 800 its not the best quality. just shop around and get one from like enjuku or something.

all a matter of opinion and what you like...
what is good to ____ may not be good to someone like Aaron (Dousan) who puts a lot of time and research into his bodykits and what he buys. Search around from companies like Origin, Vertex, ect and look into styles that you want.

There are always knockoffs on ebay, but they suck. The old saying "you get what you pay for" is definatly true in the aftermarket industry.

i know high quality such as MSPORTS and its sister companies are good

as far as USA ones ive heard of go..its hit and miss
one guy says VIS is great, another says its shit.
same goes for Fiber Images

theres a whiner for every company pretty mcuh in one way or another

best is to search aroud,read reviews and whichever one u find more positive results from go with that company.

The chargespeed vented hood for s13 silvia is pretty nice. It's fibreglass rather than CF. I have one on a car of mine.

im located in miami fl...where do you guys buy from and prices?.....i would like to just get a factory silvia s13 hood...but would consider one with mionor venting..nothing wild...im very conservitive but im running a 1jz under the hood so extra cooling wouldnt hurt

msport ones are DEAD ON in terms of fitment. but im sure other companies are good as well. just depends on how picky you are

Dmax is made by TCS sportline in Industry, decent hoods for the money. I have one on my coupe right now.
Ddrug is another company.

Was really surprised with quality of my tc sportline.

It cost $400 shipped to my door, and is much better than my friend's VIS. Fit is really good, weight is really good, carbon weave is really good.

Like Aaron said, it's hit or miss with these cheaper hoods...but I got lucky with my TCsportline.

Stateside I have no idea. TCS is available through a number of retailers. Yes its a Silvia hood.

Actually TCS still has several contracts with Dmax for products.
No Kouki S14's right now Aaron, but I will keep my eyes open for you.

I dunno if they have one, but Seibon makes awesome quality hoods. Everyone I've seen was very nice and quality made. You might want to check if they have one for silvia applications.

I have sold Seibon Carbon fiber S15 hoods they are nice. Seibon makes good stuff.

I usually don't like to deal with shipping them. That guy that go one for $400 shipped got a smoking deal cause shipping is around $145 and that means he pretty much got the hood at dead cost., of course prices have gone up a bit on the hoods in the last 4 months. I would say $500 shipped.
