Can someone pleez help me. I was putting in ngk v plugs today and some Magstar wires I got from advance auto parts. They're the 8.5mm ones. Well first one snapped in over the plug like I thought it should. 2nd didn't. So I go to pull that one off and try again, and the rubber part on the end of the wire that goes on the plug came off, and is stuck in the tube on top of plug. So now I'm pissed. I know I gotta take em back for refund, and I go to get the first one off that clicked like it should, and SAME THING happens!!!
Any suggestions? Needle nose pliers I have laying around aren't long enough. Screw drivers can't hold it to pull out.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Pull valve cover. One of my sumitumo(came with car when I bought it) wires did that too, I just left it.

Yep, I can still plug the wire in and it connects fine. BTW you really don't need 8.5mm plug wires.

Get some medical-grade clamps, the ones that are very thin and long. They should have them at a hardware store or a fishing supply aisle (some people use them to take the hooks out of the mouths of fish).

Kool, my dad knows a mechanic and he said he has pliers or something for situations like this. I didn't really know what to do with the silicone compound stuff, didn't realize you was suppose to put it around the spark plug end of the wire. I'll be man enough to take that much of the blame, but the wires are still a POS. I could pull the rubber end off that the plug goes into with ease, yet the sumitumo ones that were onmy car would hardly even come off. I think even with the silicone it would have eventually done the same thing juding by the design.
Yeah what is ngk oem or sumitomo, Im not going through this again if I get those runner boots out. Also so I don't make the same mistake, should I use dielectric silicone on oem fit wires? BTW I still have the sumitomo wires on my car if I don't find anything right after.

NGK plug wires are your friend...
Just get them off some online retailers...

Try to see if I can save these gay magstars to take em back some how. If not something I'll just have to bite the bullet with. And if thats the case, Im putting my old sumitomo's back on until I get the money for ngk. At least they go on and off no problem, and the boot doesn't come off nowhere near as easy
