Will a wheel that is 18x7 with a +42 offset work with a 240 even though it says it is a for FWD?

that offset is to damn high. They will be way tucked in and look pretty bad. Try to stick with mid +30's and down to about +29ish or so, that will give you the nice "flush" look. And take advantage of our RWD setup and get some wider rims. Like 8 wide or something.

stock is +40 and +42 will not make it looked tucked in, it'll actually come out more with 7" rims but not enough. that wheel will not fit front of s13. S13, go with +32 for that width in front and for s14 go wider like 8" for flush look, same offset.

hmm, odd. For some reason when i read it the first time i was shocked cuz i thought it said +48 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> and that scared me. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/whatsthat.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':whatthe:'> And it will still look a bit tucked, the stock offset is +40 and to me they seem to look tucked to start with. But i would try to get somthing in the lower +30 range.

i personally like the tucked look. but any way, will the "tucked" offset reduce the track width to a point that is noticable when being compared to an identicle set of rims and tires with a lower offset. im just wondering if the differance is purely aesthetic, or if it amounts to a bit of road felt difference
