Ive seen alot of S14 owners use various tire specs for the Ft./Rr. I know it can depend on numerous things but I need to know which specs will keep me from rubbing the inner fender liner in the front.

I'm currenty doing 18X9 and 18X10 both w/ a +24 offset (conservative) but far from battleshipin'. :x: I was looning at going 235/40/18 in the front as to pair up w/ the rear 255/35/18 . I'm lowered on Sportlines if that helps... Is the 235 too large? should I go w/ a 225 in the front?

Thnx:)

Sounds fine to me.

always depends on how low you are. I personally haven't seen sportlines drop on a 240, so i dont know how low you are. But a 255/35 in the rear with that size wheel shouldn't rub at all. The 235/40 will probably not rub, unless you're very low.

235 is perfectly fine, I'd roll the fenders just for a little extra clearance its not that hard to do

With that offset those tire sizes will be more than ok. There will be good clearance. No fender modifications should be needed on a S14.

Relocate your fender harness.

You sir were correct.

Purchased:
18X9 +24 Lo Disc
18X10 +24 Lo Disc
225/40 Ft. 255/35 Rr.
2 inch lip front 3 inch lip rear.

decent fitment on my Kouki S14. Falken Ziex 512's. Stretched but only an inch. Could have possibly gone 235 in the front but ran the possiblity of hitting my Kyb's. W/ the 225's I can barley get a finger between them. Pretty flush up front but the car isn't slammed so that could be the culprit. rears are nice the stretch, offset + susp. set up (Kyb's Sportlines) my best guess kept me from having to roll the fenders. They are pretty borderline though. W/ a full load (which will never happen ) would probably cause me to rub. Overall i'm happy w/ the setup.:coold:
