If you upload to the memory car, set the quality to superfine *I think thats what its called* That will get rid of all the pixelation.

The best drifting in GT3 (IMO) is one of the final (or next to final) license tests in Int'l A I think..with the Mine's R34 (white car).

That has so much power and a great balance of grip...and that crazy test track you get is sooo fun....

Best drifting game hands down in J-Land D1GP and then just recently beating that, the ultimate: D1GP 2005. FUCK. Only difference btwn the 2 is the car choice and small improvements to gameplay. Physics engine is the same. That game rules. ebrake and clutch kick buttons, breaking aero, judging, tandem, real drift corses, etc etc.

HANDS DOWN!


In fact a lot of my friends that run in D1 and FD play the game extensively right before Irwindale. And my japanese friends all play it b/c they say the tracks are perfect (like Ebisu, Bihoku, Sekia Hills, and Nikko) and it helps them with their line and driving for that specific circuit.

It's just so much bloody fun.




Oh, and I'll report back with more GT4 pics tomorrow. Tuned up a couple new cars. Dusted off some old ones. And still can't seem to shake my love for that damned 330 bhp Elise 111R.

GTR and GT Legends are my favorite of the sims out there. NOTHING comes close to it. Console racing is inferior to it :P

no that is not my setup. That is one of FREX's demo setups. Like i said i have a left over Bride bucket seat and a momo wheel i will be using with FREX's adapators and parts.

2JZGTE: I was looking into the ECCI stuff, but the FREX just appeals to me more. I know alot of people are worried about not having force feedback, but they dont even miss it with the ECCI fluid system in their controllers. I just dont like the clunkiness of the steering wheel and the small amount of buttons.

the BRD stuff has been getting alot of flak too, the new Speed 7 wheel that was supposed to come out last year is going to cost $1000!:eek3:

I have tried real life settings (like 8/6 springs, 5/3 damping out of 10, -3* camber front, -2* camber rear) and the car snap oversteers pretty badly.

Internally its a Driving Force Pro but with the larger and more realistic feel of a real racing wheel. Their sequential and H-shifters are awesome though

heres a wheel/shifter/3 pedal setup Logitech is releasing this fall. I got to try it at E3 this year and its pretty nice. Shifter felt really clicky and does not have a return to spring lever and the steering wheel only has 2 buttons, but for $299 this is a great entry setup for "hardcore sim" racing.

I'm going to be purchasing that wheel set up when GT5 comes out. I just got an extra S13 seat for my set up and once falls rolls around I'm going to be finishing off my set up. It's not gonna be as BA as yours though. I'm doing mine in wood which makes it kind of heavy but it's easy to work with.

Oh and do you have any more info on this new wheel. I read some stuff a while back (2 months ago) about it but never say that pick. Are there any more details? Forcefeedback pedals?

Rfactor has to be one of the best racing sims out right now.. fresh install maybe not, but once you install all the user made tracks and mods it cant be beat since theres soo many racing catagories covered..

yes, All 3 pedal setup has a working clutch for games that support it. I.E. GT Legends wont get into gear if you dont use the clutch by default. Of course you can map out the buttons to Auto clutch, but thats defeating the purpose.
