Hey everyone,

I have a 95' 240sx with KA24DE. I replaced the stock clutch with a CenterForce Dual Friction clutch over a year ago. A couple days ago, I went on a road trip and put about 350km on the car and ever since then, each day I start up my car and push down on the clutch pedal, I would hear a "humming" noise; when I release the clutch, it goes away. I can still put it in gear and drive no problem. After driving on it, the noise doesn't seem to be present when I clutch in.....

Any advice or idea as to what the problem may be is greatly appreciate!

Thank you every in advance!

Barry

Sounds like your release bearing is worn out.

yup i second that. has to be the release bearing. pressure is applied on the release bearing when the clutch pedal is pressed down. so that rules out ya problem.

the centerforce release bearings are cheap and go out unusually fast, people using same clutch kits have the same problem.
