Stupid Sunroof!

My sunroof got stuck halfway. I can move it back, but when I try to close it it gets stuck. I belive its a pice of the weather stripping that got stuck in the tracks. My question is can I remove the sunroof assembly with the sunroof stuck like that or with it open all the way, since I cant close it. I belive its the highlighted part below I need to get out.

thats exatcly what woud happen to my zenki's sunroof.....but i know for sure nothing was stuck....the tracks were just broke....i replaced the whole assembly.

Did you pull the assembly out from the bottom (inside of the car) then?

Drops out from the bottom, very easy. Remove the headliner and you'll figure it out in 3 seconds.

Just make certain to drop the front bracket (where the switch snaps in) first. It's a bitch to try and support the assembly on your head while breaking those last two screws loose.
