I have stance coilovers on my 95 s14 and I love them!!!! I have the 9k/7k on now and have used them for 2 drift days but is the 9k/7k to hard of a spring? do I need more weigh to shift in my s14? I have no power
(na ka ) so I think the 8k/6k would help the understeer and brake the back loose. I use the e-brake alot to brake the ass looes.

I run stance with 9/7 on my S13 and for drifting, keep it that way! IMO.
Stance has long stroke shocks compared to some other companies. Without getting too much into it, the 9/7 on my STANCE feels like 8/7 on my JICs. Basically.

Check your ride height shift the weight, raise the rear or lower the front.... Better tires, change dampening.

your car has other problmes or its probbly you
9/7 is aok
i use 10/8 on the DDs and will have the 9/7 on the STANCE
right now as of last event was 10/6 because iforgot to change the rear spring
either way its not the coilovers.
9/7 is fine
practice more. probably GO FASTER.

Maybe get some pillowball links in the rear or a bigger rear sway bar? 9/7 should be just right imo. It helps to have some power too

I used D2 coilovers for over a year drifting and then put the stance and droped it about a inch or more and that is when the back would not brake loose like it did before the new shit, it not a problem, I did not know if the 8k/6k would help, and yes more speed.
thanks

is 9/7k springs on the stance a pretty harsh ride for daily driving?

BH does the sideways thing on a dying KA in s14. just go faster. sometimes turning up the dampening can yeild the results you are looking for. However getting a proper alignment done first with have you going in the right direction.

ugh if you have to ask about "daily driving harsh coilovers" then you're probably a nancy and don't need coilovers. hoping to join the stance train soon, blown kts for the win.

The 9/7s aren't all that much more harsh than the 8/6s. Unless you live in an extremely rural area and have no road maintainence, they should be completely acceptable.
They're no problem for me.
Your understeer problem is hard to diagnose without knowing what all you have done to your car besides coilovers. ...Or it could just be that you suck at driving... :? :D

seattle roads are pretty bad... so maybe ill stick with the 8/6k spring rates once i receive my stances.

Everyones roads are bad. There is no magical state that actually spends tax dollars and toll dollars on good roads... Some roads are ncie around here, but a lot of them suck... Thats pretty much everyones story.

In the suburbs the roads aren't that bad but city roads = fail, When the hell do they have time to rip up city streets to make new ones in Chicago?
