Alright....I'm driving back home to my house, and while making a turn, I hear this little whining noise like my engine is losing power.  It didn't feel like it was losing power at all.  Then the steering wheel starts giving resistance (a minor resistance) when turning either right or left.

So, I pull over and check my power steering fluid level, and it checks out okay.  I then turn the wheel to left and right at idle and get the same little whining noise and resistance from under the hood.  Also, the idle drop to 720 revs and back up to 780 revs; which is right around my normal 750.

The only two things I could think it would be is either the power steering belt, or the power steering pump itself.

Does anyone have a different thought in mind, or am I totally off on my diagonistic...Help would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.....Mark. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Disregard the help needed guys. &nbsp;I replaced the power steering belt, and then bleeded the power steering fluid. &nbsp; This seemed to fix the problem. &nbsp; I think the whole thing was caused by a bubble of air probably in the hydraulic system.

Thanks anyways though.
