Fuck are you talking about?

If you take the bumper off you won't have a bumper, nevermind any holes.

Er, what? He's talking about his spoiler, not his bumper.

Yes, if you take your spoiler off, you'll have some nice holes in your hatch/trunk. They're ugly and will let your car leak like a siv in the rain, but easy enough to patch. I'd weld a piece of sheet metal underneath the holes and fill with featherfill or some other body filler. let it dry, smooth it out with a block, and repaint. done.

The original post was edited. Russ was right, before the guy changed his post.. it said bumper.

See how under reason for editing, he explains that he made a typo?

if you have a s13 coupe it leaves alot of holes. right now i just have them covered with those plastic tac things( dont know what there called) and i made them stick with that blue gum stuff you use to hang up posters. couldnt get it all in one pic but thats what it looks like for now.

it looks alittle cheap, but it doesnt leak and ill just keep it that way until i have time to bondo and repaint it.

easiest way is to go to the junkyard and pick up a base model hatch or trunklid that doesn't have a spoiler.

If you feel adventurous you can go source some fiberglass cloth & resin and patch the holes with that. I can't remember if that was my first or second fiberglass project but it wasn't really that hard. I ended up masking off everything around the filled in holes and spraying it with primer and then some touch up paint for my factory color (both in rattle can) and it didn't turn out too bad.

Mind you I knew that I was going to be putting a wangan wing on the back of my car within a few months anyway I just wanted to do away with the rusting foam POS that was on the car. In the end it was a great learning experience for working with composite materials that I recommend to anyone who's not afraid to get their hands "dirty".
