Anybody running the oil filter relocation kit from LS Auto? It looks a lot like the Greddy kit but doesn't appear to have braided lines.

Any thoughts, on the kit itself or the wisdom of using non-braided lines for oil?

TIA

posting a link helps...

I don't have it but it's half the price of the Greddy. I've seen a few complaints on these boards about the Greddy kit's hoses being to short, which will limit the plalces your can put the filter. You could also make your own relocation kit getting individual parts from Summit Racing.

You could always buy their adapters and make your own lines if you really want the braided.

steel braided lines are really more for looks for parts like oil lines to the filter or what not... you dont really need them unless you entend to run more the 250psi of oil.

Thanks for the replies. That's about what I thought - braided isn't necessary, really.

HOWEVER, I finally heard back from LS, and the filter mount has NO provision for gauge sensors. Greddy, here I come.
