I need a downpipe.  NOW!
I am going to be installing my turbo 28 hours from the writing of this post.  But, I need a downpipe.  I want a 3" mandrel bent pipe, but noone in FL nearby has a mandrel bender.  So my question is:
Can I use a sr20det 3" downpipe?  I'd think that only the turbo flange is going to be different, right?  So couldn't I cut the t28 flange off, and weld on a t3 flange?
Anyway, let me know FAST!
Thanks!

It should be possibe to buy a SR DP and cut it and reweld.  Remember it's not only the flange but your turbo placement.  Since you have a KA-T the placement of your turbo is not the same as a SR manifold.  It maybe lower/higher, closer/farther to the fire wall etc...

The pipe itself will line up with your cat and rest of the exhaust but the top of the DP will have to be altered.  Any muffler shop should be able to do it since you are not touching any bends etc...but again I'm just guessing.
