Heres my current setup:
SR Red Top
Stock SMIC with stock BOV port welded shut.
Stock SR downpipe with no exhaust.
No BOV of any kind.
The car starts, catches, pops a few gunshots then snuffs out. Im guessing the engine is running its self rich because theres no BOV. I have a 255lph pump running with stock injectors and stock ecu tune. I tried to bring the car to a meet last thursday but when I would press the gas my car would light up underneath. Friend said there were balls of fire underneath the car. Would not having a BOV on the setup cause my car to act this way? Im putting one on regardless but wanted to be sure it would solve my problem. Thanks in advance.

The BOV has NOTHING to do with the air/fuel of the car. I would look for a bad MAF or fubar'd maf wiring.

I know the Maf is fine because it was reving well above 2.5 RPMS. Since I put the SMIC on the car and actually sealed all the pipes the car started running like this. Could it be theres just too much fuel going in? My ecu didnt send a signal to my FP so I had to jump the relay with some wire to power the pump. Now its always on when I turn it to IGN.

So sorry if the little emote offends you. I havent driven it boosted yet and im not payin for towing every time i go to the shop if I can walk there. The place is on the same street as my house. Im not being a dick about doin it myself. Im proud of doing this work myself and take alot of pride in it. No light shown on my question as usuall. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

sorry im proud to do my own swap and congradulations on doing it ur self and by the way i asked if you checked the timing... mine did the same thing but it shot out the intake mani not the exhaust... lol and check your regulator make sure it is turning on it might be shitting gas in your clinder.. and if you can firgor out that the regulator is pushing to much fuel through crimp it or get an adjustable regualtor.

Im going to put a FPR on anyways and take it to the shop to get it running right. Just have to wait till tomorrow for everything to open so i can get the ssqv c-clip to mount my bov. The timing was set at the shop but ill check it just in case. Thanks for the input.
