o ring between the trans and the drive shaft?

is there an o-ring thats suppose to go in betwwen the trans and drive shaft because i think my trans fluid seept out?

theres a rear main seal on the back of the transmission where the input shaft of the drive shaft has to go through in order to connect the tranny and drivershaft together via matching splines.
