View Full Version : Grounding Problem.
I just recently noticed that my rear wiper and my power mirrors didn't work. So I pulled the blown fuse and replaced it, no luck again the fuse blew. Do I have a bad ground somewhere? Thats what I suspect, I want to rewire all of my grounds in my engine bay anyway...I just don't know where to start or what specificaly needs to be grounded. I have the FSM but I am schematic illiterate.

No. A 'bad' ground would not blow a fuse.
You have a wire shorted somewhere in that circuit. Best way to trace it is to first narrow it down to which item is causing it, unplug both switches and replace the fuse. If it doesn't blow, plug in one of the switches. If it then blows, that switch is the problem. If it does blow with the switches unplugged, go to the mirrors and the rear wiper motor and unplug them. Do the same thing, connect each item one at a time until you find the culprit.
awsome, thanks for your help
