yech, audi's have gotten really ugly. audi/vw hit a styling sweet spot in the late 90's/2000, but everything since has been just bad. those huge grills look stupid, and the designs in general have gotten too busy and cluttered. plus, because of their drivetrain layout, they have monstrous front overhangs that really screw up the proportions of the cars.

This is just a difference of opinion but I would have to disagree.

I dunnot something about the new A6's just get me all happy inside.

It's just a matter of opinion, cause I think they are getting much better. The previous 90's models looked more chubby to me.

Get rid of the chrome trim and color match the panel that holds the liscense plate and it becomes hot again! Chrome?...Were they actually serious?

Exactly. Those grills are butt-fucking ugly. and now they are migrating to VW. The new Jetta and Golf don't look nearly as good as the last generation models. The Jetta looks like a corolla now. VW ftl.

And look at where the front wheel is relative to the rest of the body. It looks like it ran into a curb, the front wheels are practically under the windshield. In fact, I was just reading today that on the new S6, the front driveshafts are located BEHIND the flywheel, meaning the entire engine (V10) is sitting ahead of the front axle, stupid packaging.

Audi just barely caught up with BMW. And BMW is only getting better performance wise. Wait for the new 335i and the new M3 to be out :D
